He lived here, on Arbat, our furst bard (singer and poet), Bulat Okudzhava.
Here, on the corner of Plotnikov pereulok his monument stands. Big windows to the left - former grocery store "Dieta" where I used to com for groceries, too. There is something very official now. I'm surprised only, where the locals go for groceries to - no normal grocery stores for the people aroung...
I've heard that there is a famous photo of Okudvhava with Arbat background. but I couldn't find it yet. I remember though that I read about this photo in the last Aksenov's novel - about the friends of his youth. May be, the photo existed only in his novel...
